Bu çalışmanın amacı, İlköğretim 4. sınıf Sosyal Bilgiler dersi ?İnsanlar ve Yönetim? ünitesinde kullanılan problem çözme teknik ve etkinliklerinin öğrencilerin öğrenme düzeyleri üzerindeki etkilerini belirlemektir. Deneysel metodun kullanıldığı bu araştırma, öntest-sontest kontrol gruplu deneme modeline göre desenlenmiştir. Araştırmanın evreni Konya ili merkezinde bulunan Aynur Kasabalı İlköğretim Okulunun dördüncü sınıflarından yansız seçimle belirlenen iki şubeden toplam 48 öğrenci oluşturmaktadır. Bu şubelerden biri deney diğeri kontrol grubu olarak seçilmiştir. Araştırmada ?İnsanlar ve Yönetim? ünitesinin öğretimi, deney grubunda problem çözme etkinliklerine, kontrol grubunda tek yönlü iletişimin egemen olduğu öğretmen merkezli, genellikle anlatım yöntemine dayalı olarak gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmada verileri toplamak amacıyla ünite ile ilgili olarak hazırlanan 23 bilgi, 10 kavrama, 1analiz ve 1sentez ve 1 değerlendirme düzeyinde olmak üzere toplam 36 soruluk ?İnsanlar ve Yönetim? ünitesi başarı testi öğretimin başında ve sonunda deneklere uygulanmıştır. Verilerin analizinde ortalama, standart sapma(ss) ve t?testi tekniği kullanılmıştır. İstatistikî analizler Excel ve SPSS 10,0 proğramında gerçekleştirilmiştir. Sonuçların yorumlanmasında 0,5 anlamlılık düzeyi kabul edilmiştir. Araştırmada ulaşılan sonuçlar şöyle özetlenebilir: 1- Deney grubu öğrencileri uygulama sonunda kontrol grubu öğrencilerinden daha başarılı olmuşlardır. 2- Uygulama sonunda deney grubu öğrencilerinin kontrol grubu öğrencilerinden daha başarılı olmasında problem çözme teknikleri ile öğretimin etkisinin olduğu tespit edilmiştir.
The aim of this study is to determine the effects and techniques of problem solving that have been used in unit the ?Human and Management? of the 4rd grade of Social Science lesson in Primary Schools. Experimental Method has been used this investigation study and has been figured according to the pretest-final test controlled group test method. Totally 48 students of Aynur Kasabalı Primary school stated in Konya Centrum 4rd grade of two classes chosen as neutral election took place. One of these classes has been chosen as an experimental group and the other as a central group. In the investigation the teaching of the ?Human and Management? unit has been realized as problem solving techniques in experimental groups and expression method in control groups here there is teacher based one way communication. In this investigation, in order to collect data regarding the unit, 23 information, 10 insight, 1 analyssi, and 1 synthesis and evaluation level 1 a total of 36 questions which the ?Human and Management? unit achievement test at the beginning and the end of the academic year have been apllied. In data analysis, mean standard deviation and t-test technique were used. Statistical analysis was carried out in excel and SPSS 10,0 program. In interpretation of results, the 0,5 significance level has been accepted. Summary 1. Experimental Group students at the end of the application were more successful than the control group students. 2. It has been found out that the problem solving techniques and education had an important role in the success of experimental group rather than control groups students.
