Okul öncesi dönemde satranç öğreniminde geleneksel ve bilgisayar destekli öğretim yöntemlerinin karşılaştırılması

Abstract

Araştırmada, okul öncesi eğitim kurumlarına devam eden 5- 6 yaş çocuklarına satranç öğretiminin kazandırılmasında bilgisayar destekli ve geleneksel öğretim yöntemlerinin karşılaştırılması ve değerlendirilmesi yapılmıştır. Erdemli İlçesi 75.Yıl Anaokulu toplam 40 çocuk araştırmanın örneklemini oluşturmaktadır. Bu araştırma kapsamında öğrenciler için ön ve son test ile araştırmacı tarafından etkileşimli ders yazılım CD'si hazırlanmıştır. Ön ve son test sonuçlarından elde edilen veriler SPSS programında analiz edilmiş ve t-testi yapılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda; ? Bilgisayar destekli öğretim yönteminin uygulandığı deney grubu öğrencilerinin, geleneksel öğretim yönteminin uygulandığı kontrol grubu öğrencilerine kıyasla daha başarılı bir sonuca ulaştıkları görülmüştür. ? Kontrol ve deney grubu öğrencilerinin son test puanlarının aritmetik ortalamasını karşılaştırdığımızda, deney grubu öğrencilerinin anlamlı bir farkla daha başarılı oldukları görülmüştür. ? İstatistiksel sonuçların yanında, bilgisayar destekli öğretim sürecinde öğrencilerin derse severek katıldıkları, hevesli oldukları ve eğlenerek öğrendikleri gözlemlenmiştir. Araştırmanın sonunda, ortaya çıkan sonuçlara dayalı olarak, öneriler sunulmuştur.

In this study comparison and evaluation of traditional teaching and computer supported methods for adoption of chess learning by children of 5-6 years old attending pre-school educational institutions. Total 40 students of Erdemli County 75th Year Kinder garden have constituted the samples of the study. A CD software for interactive course by the researcher and introductory and final test have been prepared within the context of this study. Data obtained from the results of introductory and final test have been analyzed in SPSS program and t-test have been conducted. At the end of the study: 1. It is observed that the students of the test group that computer supported teaching methods are applied have achieved more successful results than the control group students that traditional teaching methods were applied. 2. When the arithmetic average of final test scores of the control and test group students are compared, it is observed that the test group students are more successful by a significant difference 3. Besides the statistical results, it is observed that the students have participated in the courses with alacrity, they were enthusiastic and enjoyed learning. At the end of the study recommendations are submitted based on the emerging results.
