There was also a difference regarding other anthropometric measures in both groups. The values were higher in the acupuncture group at all times. In both the acupuncture and control groups there was no difference between biochemical results regarding normal values. It was thought that acupuncture had no advere seffect on biochemical values. In conclusion, there are a lot of methods used in the treatment of obesity. It is well known that a single method can be effective in a limited manner in the treatment of obesity. Among these methods acupuncture could also take place. In this regard, multicenter studies would be of help in the future treatment of obesity.
