Konya Etnografya Müzesi'nde bulunan Uşak halıları

Abstract

Uşak Halıları konulu bu araştırmamızda; halıların bulunduğu, Konya Etnografya Müzesi ve Mevlana Müzesi'nde çalışma yapılmıştır. Örnekler, muhafaza edildiği depo ve sergi alanında incelenmiş ve belgelendirilmiştir. Amacımız, Konya Etnografya Müzesi'nde bulunan Uşak halılarını tespit etmek ve tarih içerisindeki seyrini (gelişimini) belirlemektir. Aynı zamanda Türk Halı Sanatı Tarihi'nde önemli bir grubu oluşturan Uşak Halıları'ndaki kompozisyon düzeni ve motifleri, tezyinattaki kurallar çerçevesinde ele alarak, bu gruptaki halıların daha iyi anlaşılmasını sağlamaktır. Giriş bölümünde, konunun tanımı, amaçları, önemi, yöntem ve konu ile ilgili yapılan çalışmalara değinilmiştir. İkinci bölümde, örneklerin bulunduğu Konya Etnografya Müzesi hakkında genel ve detay bilgiler verilmiştir. Üçüncü bölümde, Uşak Halıları'nın tarihi gelişimi hakkında bilgi verilmiştir. Dördüncü bölümde, müzelerde incelenen örnekler için gözlem formları oluşturulmuş ve tek tek incelediğimiz örneklerin, görünen özellikleri ile kompozisyon ve motif düzenleri detaylı bir şekilde bu formlara aktarılmıştır. Her gözlem formundan sonra o örnekle ilgili genel ve detay fotoğrafları ile eskiz çizimleri yer almıştır. Beşinci bölümde, incelediğimiz örneklerin genel özellikleri (kullanılan teknik, kullanılan malzeme, kullanılan motif ve kompozisyon özellikleri) üzerinde durulmuştur. Değerlendirme ve sonuç kısmı olan altıncı bölümde, örnekler önce tek tek ele alınarak, örneklerde gözlemlenen bulgular üzerinde değerlendirme yapılmış, daha sonra örnekler toplu olarak genel değerlendirmeye tabi tutulmuştur.

In our study on Carpets of Uşak (a province in Turkey), an investigation was conducted at Konya Ethnography Museum and Mevlana Museum, which house such carpets. The samples were examined at the depot and the exhibition hall where they are kept and documented. Our purpose is to identify Uşak Carpets at Konya Ethnography Museum and determine their developmental course in time. At the same time, we intend to deal with the composition and motifs in Uşak Carpets, which constitute an important group in the History of Turkish Art of Carpet-Making, within the framework of decorative rules and thus ensure that these carpets are better appreciated. In the introduction section, the definition, objectives, significance and method of the subject were given and relevant studies on the topic were mentioned. In the second section, general and detailed information was given about Konya Ethnography Museum, where the samples are kept. In the third section, information was given about the historical development of Uşak Carpets. In the fourth section, observation forms were prepared for the samples we examined at the Museum and the physical properties and composition and motif arrangements of these samples, which we examined one by one were recorded in these forms in detail. At the end of each observation form, general and detailed photographs of that specific sample and its sketches were included. In the fifth section, overall properties of the samples we examined (the technique used, the material used, the motif used and composition) were mentioned. In the sixth section, which is the evaluation and conclusion section, the samples were dealt with individually first, and evaluations were made on the observations about the samples; then, the samples were subjected to a general evaluation as a whole.
