Public Relations has a dynamic structure and is one of the basic elements in modern politics. In today's world, where alternatives have become numerous, competitions increased, and where even the term 'up-to-date' does not reflect the innovations sufficiently, political parties and leaders are in a constant competition; and the 2014 Local Elections is a picture reflecting such a competition. Political parties conducted communication activities in different dimensions with different themes in March 30, 2014. Public Relations, applied even in most primitive societies, kept its importance in political arena in this election, as it is the case in every election. Before the 2014 Local Elections, the Ruling Party and the Main Opposition Party in Turkey tried to gain the consent of the public with various Public Relations campaigns. The Public Relations campaigns were shaped according to the purposes; in some campaigns, the leaders were in the foreground; and in some of them the projects and promises of the candidatescast a cloud on the leaders. Each public relations activity has been examined separately in this study, and the voters of the city of Konya have been asked to assess the Public Relations activities of the Justice and Development Party (AK PARTY) and The Republican People's Party (CHP).The replies received from the voters have been assessed statistically in the last chapter.
