Bu araştırmada, enrofloksasirı ve danofloksasinin sağlıklı ve deneysel olarak peritonit oluşturulmuş farelerin karaciğer süperoksid dismutaz ve glutasyon peroksidaz enzim düzeylerine etkilerinin belirlenmesi amaçlandı. Bu amaçla 132 adet beyaz fare kullanıldı. Fareler, kontrol grubu, enrofloksasin grubu, danofloksasin grubu, deneysel peritonit grubu (canlı E.colî), deneysel peritonit (canlı E.coli) + enrofloksasin ve deneysel peritonit (canlı E.colî) + danofloksasin grubu olmak üzere 6 gruba ayrıldı. Karaciğer dokusu örneklerindeki enzim düzeyleri spektrofotometre ile ölçüldü. Yapılan ölçümler sonucunda, danofloksasinin süperoksid dismutaz enzim düzeyini ilk iki gün artırdığı üçüncü gün düşürdüğü, enrofloksasinin ise glutasyon peroksidaz enzimin düzeyini ilk üç gün düşürdüğü tespit edilmiştir. Danofloksasin ve E.coli uygulamasının ise tüm deneme süresince glutasyon peroksidaz enziminde azalmalara neden olduğu gözlenmiştir.
In this study, it was investigated that effects of fluoroquinolone antibiotics on superoxide dismutase and glutathione peroxidase enzyme levels in healthy and experimentally induced peritonitis mice. 132 mice randomly divided into six groups. Group 1 served as control, group 2 was injected enrofloxacin, group 3 was injected danofloxacin, group 4 was injected live E.coli, group 5 was injected live E.coli and enrofloxacin and group 6 was injected live E.coli and danofloxacin. Liver antioxidant enzyme levels were measured by spectrophotometer. As results, enrofloxacin caused a decrease glutathione peroxidase enzyme level at first three day, and danofloxacin caused an increase superoxide dismutase enzyme level at 1st and 2nd day and a decrease at 3rd day. Danofloxacin and E.coli caused a decrease glutathione peroxidase enzyme level during all experimental period.
