Bu araştırmanın amacı; okul öncesi eğitim öğretmenlerinin etkili rehberlik uygulamalarının gerçekleştirilmesinde eğitim ihtiyaçlarının belirlenmesidir.Araştırmada nicel ve nitel araştırma yöntemleri kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın Çalışma evrenini Isparta ili merkez ilçelerinde çalışan öğretmenler oluşturmuştur. Öğretmenlerin eğitim ihtiyaçları kendi görüşleri doğrultusunda belirlenmeye çalışılmıştır. Araştırmada nicel veri toplama aracı olarak ulusal ve uluslararası literatürün incelenme sonucunda araştırmacı tarafından geliştirilen ve geçerliliği, güvenirliği test edilmiş okulöncesi eğitimde etkili rehberlik uygulamaları yeterlilik ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Ölçek öğretmenlerin kişisel rehberlik, eğitsel rehberlik ve mesleki rehberlik le ilgili yeterliliklerini kapsayan davranışlardan oluşmuştur. Nitel veriler ise, rehber öğretmenlere sorulan iki açık uçlu soru ile elde edilmiştir.Araştırmada, elde edilen nicel bulgulara göre ulaşılan sonuçlar şunlardır; okul öncesi öğretmenlerinin, kişisel rehberlik ve eğitsel rehberlik uygulamalarında kendilerini büyük ölçüde yeterli buldukları, ancak mesleki rehberlik faaliyetlerini uygulama konusunda kısmi yetersizlikleri olduğu belirlenmiştir. Bazı kişisel değişkenler açısından değerlendirildiğinde; okul türü değişkeni, yani öğretmenlerin bağımsız anaokulu ya da ilköğretime bağlı anasınıflarında görev yapıyor olmaları; kişisel, eğitsel ve mesleki rehberlik açısından yeterlilik algılarını etkilememektedir. Öğretmenlerin mesleki deneyimlerinin az ya da çok olması kişisel, eğitsel ve mesleki rehberlikle ilgili yeterlilik algılarını etkilememektedir. Lisans eğitimi süresince, okul öncesi eğitimde rehberlikle ilgili aldığı dersleri yeterli bulan ve bulmayan okul öncesi eğitimi öğretmenlerinin olması kişisel, eğitsel ve mesleki rehberlikle ilgili yeterlilik algıları benzerlik göstermektedir. Araştırmada elde edilen nitel bulgulara göre ulaşılan sonuçlar şunlardır; okul öncesi eğitim kurumlarında çalışan rehber öğretmenlere göre, okul öncesi eğitim öğretmenlerinin etkili rehberlik uygulamalarının gerçekleştirilebilmesinde, rehberlik alanında (kişisel, eğitsel ve özellikle mesleki rehberlik) yetersiz oldukları görülmüştür. Özellikle okul öncesi eğitim öğretmenlerinin yaptıkları uygulamalarda, mesleki rehberlik alanlarında yapılan yanlışlıkların okul öncesi eğitimin gelişimini olumsuz yönde etkilediği düşünülmektedir. Okul öncesi eğitim öğretmenlerinin, özel eğitim ihtiyacı olan öğrencilere ve ailelerine yönelik rehberlik hizmetlerinde yöntem ve uygulama anlamında desteklenmeleri gerekmektedir. Okul öncesi eğitim öğretmenlerinin karşılaştıkları sorunlar karşısında yetersiz kaldıkları ve her okulda rehber öğretmen bulunmaması nedeniyle de sorunların çözümsüz kaldığı bilgisi edinilmiştir. Özellikle kişisel ve mesleki rehberlik anlamında ailelerin beklentileri bulunmaktadır. Okul öncesi eğitim öğretmenleri arasında rehber öğretmenlerle çalışabilen öğretmenlerin daha az problem yaşadıkları ifade edilmiştir. The aim of this study was; to determine the training needs of pre-school education teachers on realizing their own effective guidance practices. Quantitative and qualitative research methods were used in the study. The study population consisted of teachers working in the central districts of the province of Isparta. The training needs of teachers were tried to be determined in accordance with their own opinions. After going through the national and international litterateur, to collect qualitative data "The Competency Scale of Effective Guidance Practices in Pre-School Education" was developed by the researcher as data collection tool whose validity and reliability had already been tested. Qualitative data, however, were obtained with two open-ended questions asked guidance counselors. The scale consists of teachers? behaviors regarding competencies of "personal guidance", "educational guidance" and "vocational guidance". According to the quantitative findings in the study, pre-school teachers found themselves sufficient in personal guidance and educational guidance applications largely, but on the other hand they found themselves partially insufficient in practice of vocational guidance activities. When it is considered in terms of some personal variables, such as school type variable does not affect their perceptions of competence in terms of personal, educational and career guidance. Teachers' professional experience to be more or less does not affect their perceptions of personal, educational and career guidance competence. According to the qualitative findings of the research, the results obtained are as follows: guidance teachers working in pre-school education were found to be inadequate on effective guidance practices in the field (personal, educational and particularly in vocational guidance). Especially in applications of pre-school teachers, the mistakes made in the areas of vocational guidance are thought to affect the development of pre-school education adversely. Pre-school education teachers need to be supported in guidance services for students and their families with special educational needs in terms of methodology and implementation. Pre-school education teachers are insufficient when they come across problems and due to lack of guidance counselors at each school the issues remain unresolved. There are expectations of families, especially in terms of personal and professional guidance. Among pre-school teachers, the teachers working with guidance teachers have expressed themselves as having fewer problems. Key Words: Pre-school Education, Guidance, Identification of Training Needs
