Kayseri'nin kış turizm potansiyeli ve tercih edilmesindeki sebepler: Erciyes örneği

Abstract

Kış Turizmi açısından zengin bir kaynağa sahip olan ülkemizde de Palandöken, Uludağ, Erciyes, Ilgaz, Sarıkamış, Zigana, Davraz gibi önemli tesislere sahip noktalarda hem ülkemiz insanı için hem de dışarıdan gelen turistler için önemli bir kış turizm potansiyeline sahiptir. Buradan yola çıkarak Erciyes kış turizm merkezinde gerçekleştirilen faaliyetler, tercih edilme sebepleri ve bu tesislerin karşılaştırılması araştırmanın konusunu oluşturmuştur. Buradan yola çıkarak Kayseri'nin sahip olduğu tarihi ve kültürel boyutları literatür taraması sonucu elde edilen bilgiler ışığında kış turizmiyle ilişkilendirilmiştir. Bu kapsamda Kayseri'nin kış turizm açısından tercih edilme sebepleri, Erciyes Kayak Merkeziyle sınırlandırılarak çözümlenmeye çalışılmıştır. Çalışmada literatür araştırması sonucu oluşturulan anket yöntem kullanılmıştır. Hazırlanan anket Erciyes dağında kış turizmi gerçekleştirmek üzere gelen turistlere uygulanmıştır. Araştırmanın sonuçları doğrultusunda kış turizm merkezinin yeterince reklam ve tanıtımının yapılmadığı, sahip olduğu otel, alışveriş merkezlerinin yetersiz kaldığı, düzenlenen uluslararası kış spor faaliyetlerinin ziyarete gelen turist sayısına doğrudan etki ettiği sonuçlarına ulaşılmıştır.

Having a rich source in terms of winter tourism, Palandöken has an important winter tourism potential both for our country's people and foreign tourists in places with important facilities like Palandöken, Uludağ, Erciyes, Ilgaz, Sarıkamış, Zigana and Davraz. From here, the activities of Erciyes winter tourism center, the reasons for preference and the comparison of these facilities have been the subject of research. From here, the historical and cultural dimensions of Kayseri, which are derived from the literature, are related to winter tourism in the light of the information obtained. In this context, the reasons for preferring Kayseri for winter tourism were limited by Erciyes Ski Center and tried to be solved. The questionnaire method used in the study was the result of the literature search. The prepared questionnaire was applied to the tourists coming to Erciyes to perform winter tourism. In the direction of the results of the research, it has been reached that the winter tourism center has not advertised and promoted sufficiently, the hotel has had a direct impact on the number of tourists coming from abroad and the international winter sports activities in which shopping centers are insufficient.
