The Börükçü Necropolis is located on a steep slope, east-west on the sacred road between Stratonikeia and Lagina, one of the most important cities of the Karia Region. 95 different graves of 9 different types were excavated, which are dating to the Classical Period, at the excavations between 2002 and 2009. The structure of the necropolis has an effective role in regulating the tombs. The tombs were built on these terraces, while the necropolis was built on the sloping land in the east-west direction. The purpose of this research is to determine the burial traditions and the applied rituals by grouping the tomb typologies in terms of their architectural characteristics of the Classical Period tombs at the Börükçü Necropolis. In this context, grave typology and the burial tradition are considered together. The relationship between the burial forms applied to the necropolis and the grave typology were determined. The necropolis goods were divided into two groups, graves and dead gifts. The graves with intensive goods were determined and according to the usage purposes of the goods, the tombs and dead gifts were identified. The grave goods were classified between themselves and dated together with other find groups in the same context in the grave.
