Mekân incelemeleri anlatıya dayalı metinlerde önemli bir yer teşkil etmektedir. Mekân incelemesini
salt fiziki bir mekân olarak nitelendirmek yanlış olacaktır. Mekân anlatıya dayalı metnin
diğer tüm birimleriyle sıkı bir ilişki içerisindedir ve çok boyutlu bir yapı olarak karşımıza
çıkmaktadır. Mavi Kuş adlı romanda mekân, romanın bel kemiğini oluşturmaktadır Bir otobüs
olan Mavi Kuş, mekânın çok yönlülüğüne bir örnek olarak sayılabilir. Mavi Kuş adlı eser
tür olarak hikâye ve roman arasında bir konuma sahiptir ve bu yönüyle Mavi Kuş, her iki türün
özelliklerini üstlenmiştir. Bu çalışmamızda Mustafa Kutlu tarafından kaleme alınan Mavi
Kuş adlı romanın mekân incelemesi yapılacaktır. İncelememizi yaparken mekânı sadece fiziki
bir niteliğe sahip bir varlık olarak değil, insanla güçlü bir etkileşimi olan ve karakter çözümlemede
işlevsel olan bir konumda ele alacağız.
Location-based narrative reviews are an important part in the texts. Only a physical space as a
