The province of Kars, which is located in the northern east of Turkey, has been settled since the earliest eras of human history. The province of Kars has a geopolitical importance due to its location as it connects Anatolia and Caucasus. Therefore, it has become a place which has been wanted to retain throughout the historical process. As a result of the researches, which have been carried out by the help of Ataturk University, State Planning Organization and the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the rock painting figüre, writing and marks that we find in abudance in the region, reflects many features of social and cultural peculiarities of pre-historic time and people.
