In this study, multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNT) and boron nitride (BN) nanoparticles are functionalized with cetyltrimethylammonium bromide in two different pH environment. The MWCNT-CTAB and BN-CTAB particles are used to prepare composites at room temperature is dispersed in a bisphenol A (DGEBA) type epoxy resin system. The characterization of the obtained composite scanning electron microscope (SEM), X-Ray Diffraction (XRD), thermal gravimetric (TG) and the mechanical testing was conducted by applying. The surface modification effect on the electrical conductivity of the composite obtained was determined by a four-point technique. TGA analysis substantially of BN composite at temperatures above 400 ºC showed that increasing the thermal stability of the pure epoxy. The degree of hardening of the nanocomposite, FTIR spectra, values based on pure epoxy calculated using the Beer-Lambert law is about the same. The best electrical conductivity of the resulting composite ER / MWCNT-CTAB (pH 5.5) showed. Of composites, surface hardness, Young's modulus, tensile strength was investigated. ER / MWCNT-CTAB (pH 5.5) composite surface hardness values were higher than other composites. Morphology of composites, X-ray diffraction (XRD) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM) using-characterized and results obtained were compared.
