Bu çalışmada, İkinci Meşrutiyet Devri son Osmanlı ulemalarından olan Hasan
Fehmi'nin (Başoğlu) yaşadıkları, Türk yenileşme tarihi ekseninde incelenmeye çalışılmıştır.
Bir medrese hocası/rektörü olarak Mütareke Devrindeki kunımlarla olan ilişkisi, stiklal
Mahkemelerindeki yargılanışı ve 1950'lerde Diyanet İşleri Başkanlığındaki faaliyetleri
değerlendirilmiştir. Bu şekilde Milli Mücadele, İnkılap hareketleri ve 1950'1er Türkiye'sinin
yapısal değişimi içinde Hasan Fehmi'nin temsil etmiş olduğu kuşağın reflekslerindeki fikri
değişim, din-siyaset ilişkisi ekseninde gözler önüne serilmeye çalışılmıştır.
in this study the experiences of Hasan Fehmi (Başoğlu), one of the latest Muslim
·theologians of the Ottoman of The Second Constitutional Era were examined through the
direction of historical period of Turkish Modernizafion. The activities of him regarding the
relations between the institutions during the Annistice Years asa lecturer anda rector (head)
of a madrasah (Moslem theological school }, the trial process at the lndependence Courts
and the perfoımance of him at the Department of Religious Affairs have been studied. So
the ideological adjustment observed in the generation of Hasan Fehmi was examined on the
basis of religion-politics during the period of The National Struggle, Turkish Revolulion and
lhe new structure of the Turkey's in 1950.
