Bu çalışma, iki bölümden meydana gelmiştir: Birincisi, Şeyhülislam Yahya Di'vanı'nın
başında yer alan tasawuft nitelikli Sakı-name mesnevisindeki; ikincisi, gazellerindeki aşk
şarabının yorumunun incelenmesi. Kanaatimizce Sakı-name, gazellerindeki şarap şiirleri için bir
anahtar kelimeler veya simgeler sözlüğüdür. Yani şair, Dıvan'ın başındaki bu mesnevisiyle,
rindane gazellerindeki içki ile ilgili kelimelerin bu Sakt-name'ye göre algılanmasını istemiş gibidir.
Sahl-name'de şairin kainata bakış açısı sufilerinki ile örtüşür. Ona göre, gökteki yıldızlardan
bahçedeki çiçeklere kadar, evrendeki bütün varlıklar aşk şarabının sarhoşudur.
Şair, Sakı-name' de dolaylı tasvirlerle doğrudan ifade ettiği tasavvufi yorum örüntüsünü
gazellerinde gizleyerek, şarapla ilgili dolaysız tasvirlere daha çok yer vermiştir. Kanaatimizce
rindane şiirler yazan diğer Osmanlı şairleri gibi Şeyhülislam Yahya Efendi, şarabın sözlükteki
mecaz anlamını en iyl gizleyebilen usta şairlerimizdendir.
This study is made up of two parts. Firstly, we investigate a sufle type poem, "Sakiname'.'
mesnevi, which stands at the beginning of the divan of Sheikh Al~Islam Yahya, and
secondly the interpretation of the wine of love in his odes. in our opinion, Sakı-name is a
dictionary of key words or symbols for the wine poems in his odes. [n other words, it is like a
meaning expression of the words related to wine. In fact, the poet about his mesnevi at the
beginning of the Divan seerns to wish that the words concemed with wine in rindane odes
should be perceived in line with the meaning in Said-name. The perspective of the poet about
universe overlaps with the one of sufies. According to him, all of the things created in the
universe ranging from stars in the sky to flowers in the gardens are intoxicated by the wine of
love.
The poet gives more place to the direct depictions concerning wine in his odes in
comparison to Sakı-name of which sufistic interpretation pattern is dominantly expressed by the
indirect depictions. We firm!y hold that Şruıik!L_Al-:lşlaın Yahya like other poets who wrltes
rindane is one of the master poets who can skilfully hide the figurative meaning of wine in the
dictionary.
