Divan sairlerinden Ferrî mahlaslı Mehmet Efendi XVIII. yy. da Osmanlı
Devleti’nde yaşamıştır. Onun tek eseri Dîvân’ıdır. Çoğunluğu Türkçe şiirlerden
oluşan Dîvân’ında bazı Farsça şiirler de bulunmaktadır. Bu makalede Ferrî’nin
Farsça bir tercî-i bendi incelenmiş, sairin kullandığı tasavvufî terimler açıklanmaya
çalışılmıştır. Böylece Ferrî’nin tasavvufî bilgi birikimi ortaya çıkarılıp ilim âlemine
sunulmuştur. Ayrıca, Osmanlı döneminde yaşamış bir sairin Farsça siir
söylemedeki yeteneği de belirlenmeye çalışılmıştır. Netice itibariyle Ferrî’nin
kullandığı tasavvufi terimlerinden geniş bir tasavvufî birikimi olduğu söylenebilir.
One of the Diwan poets of the XVIIIth century Mehmet Efendi, whose
pseudonym was Ferî, lived in the Otoman State. The Diwan of Ferrî is a single
work of him. There are aslo Persian poems in his Diwan, most of which are
composed of Turkish poems. In this article a Persian poem of Ferrî has been
handled. We tried to explain the mystic words used by the poet. Thus, the mystic
knowledge and capability of Ferri has been revealed. Besides, the writing skill of
poet, who lived during the Otoman Empire, was attempted to be explained. As a
result, we can say that Ferri was so talented and succesfull in using the terms of
the mysticism.
