Bu makalede Güneydoğu’da 1980’lerin sonlarından itibaren meydana
gelen zorunlu göçün, sosyolojik teoriye son yıllarda girmiş olan, “kültürel travma”
kuramı açısından değerlendirilmesi amaçlanmaktadır. Kültürel travma kuramı
toplumda önemli olayların neden olduğu sosyo-kültürel değişmeleri incelemek için
bir çerçeve sunar. Bu kuramdan hareketle bölgede zorunlu göçlerle birlikte içine
girilmiş olan hızlı sosyo-kültürel değişme sürecini Hakkari ve Van örneğinde ele
aldık.
This study aims to evaluate the compulsory migration that occured in the
southeast of Turkey in the late 1980s, regarding the term of “cultural trauma
theory”. This theory presents a framework to study the socio-cultural changes in
society which appears due to important events. Considering this theory, we
examine the process of social and cultural change because of the compulsory
migrations in the southeast (Hakkari and Van Provinces) of Turkey.
