Atasözleri, geçmisten günümüze aktarılan, uzun tecrübe ve gözlemlere
dayanılarak olusturulmus ve toplum tarafından benimsenmis, özlü ögütler veren
kalıplasmıs sözlerdir. Atasözleri, toplumun ortak tecrübe, duygu, düsünce, tutum,
davranıs, dünya görüsü, inanç ve kültür yapısını yansıtır.
Bu çalısma, Japon atasözlerinde hayvan imgelerinin nasıl geçtigini ve bu
imgelerin nasıl anlamlandırıldıgını genel hatlarıyla ortaya koymayı amaçlamaktadır.
Japon atasözlerinde, anlatıma canlılık ve güç kazandırmak için çesitli metaforlara
(benzetme ve aktarmalara) basvuruldugu görülmektedir. Atasözlerinde sıklıkla
kullanılan metaforlardan bir kısmını ise zoonimler (hayvan imgelerine dayanan
ifadeler) olusturmaktadır. Bu makalede, Japon atasözleri taranmıs; hayvan imgelerine
iliskin atasözleri derlenerek bu baglamda degerlendirilmeye çalısılmıstır.
Proverbs are rigid words which have been transferred from the past up to now,
formed based on long experience and observations and adopted by the society, have
given concise advices. Proverbs reflect the society’s common experience, feeling,
thought, attitude, behaviour, world view, belief and culture structure. That proverbs
have an attribution, remaining from experiences of old generations, which guides and
advises is one of primary specialities of them.
This study aims to reveal in which way the some animal images take place in
Japanese folklore with its general lines. In Japanese proverbs, it can be seen that
various metaphors are used to give expression vitality and strength. Many of the
metaphors which used in Japanese proverbs are the zoonyms (expressions based on
animal images). In this article, Japanese proverbs regarding the animal images were
collected and tried to be evaluated by collecting in certain titles.
